Happy 5th Year Anniversary

A dedication from me to you.


To my dearest boyfriend,

Thank you for being together with me for the past 5 years.

Looking back through this journey, it feels pretty amazing. We have been through so much. I still remember the first time I saw you across the street around our area, thinking who is this boy. Dance brought us together, as back then we share this same passion and dream. We join our first dance competition together,  perform and shine. We watched countless movies, visited countless places, ate countless goodies and many more.

I'm glad from the start I was so narcissistic. I bring my camera everywhere, and this is when we capture our memories. At times we have to thanks our friends who help us, not to forget our precious Mr Tripod. We like to explore different places, be it in the wilds, town and even around our neighborhood. Often this moments come by chance, an impromptu act. Another passion of us start to grow.

We began our journey to be an artist, an artist inside of us who tell stories through photography or videography.

You're someone who I can freely express myself. I go crazy, sad, happy and what's not. Sometimes, you understand myself more than I do, my expression says everything. We seems to have endless talk most of the time, to update each of our daily life or even to grumble the blues.

Let's work this journey together, always remember I will be there for you. We will not take each other for granted.

"There" Short Film by wemerrygoround

Holla! It's been one and a half months since I last blog.  Time for some updates!

If you haven't already watch, here's Alvin and me first ever short film called "There". 

"There" seeks to elucidate an episode of how/what a person thinks, at the beginning of a relationship, in Singapore.

We often describe this moment as the sweetest. During this period, when the relationship is about to begin, all they wanted was to know more about each other. It is the moment of exploration and aspiration for both the individuals.

This short film allows you to see what unveils in the mind of our character and what appears in his or her thought, just when the moment is about to begin and wanting to be There.

This film is an entry for ciNE65 II (2013) with the theme of 'I'll be there for you Singapore'.

It was really challenging to shot everything in a day. We travel around the whole of Singapore from the west to the east and then back again.

The complete list of winners for this year's ciNE65 competition is released few days ago via http://www.cine65.sg/blog.php . Though we did not manage to get shortlisted, it was a great experience and learning journey.

4th Year Anniversary @ Tulipmania

Thanks for taking care of me when I am sick and tolerating all my nonsensical moments. Four years never come easy, let's continue to have many years ahead.

AZA AZA FIGHTING TO US!





So on that special day, we went to Tulipmania at Gardens by the Bay.
 


Don't you love the gorgeous flowers and wish you were at Netherlands during springtime to see this flowers in full bloom? 





At the Gardens, you can experience the glory of a Dutch spring with Tulipmania, it is the largest tulip-themed floral show ever to be held in Singapore. With blooms flown in directly from Netherlands by their official sponsor KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, visitors can look forward to a spectacular display of 20,000 tulips in a vibrant myriad of spring colours such as red, pink, yellow, white and purple.

Along with other features such as Dutch windmills and customized wooden clogs at the Tulipmania Flower Display, visitors can expect to enjoy a little piece of the Netherlands right in the heart of the Gardens.

I especially love these Daisy!

Go visit Tulipmania and capture the pretty flowers! Go now or never 'cos they are open till 20 May 2013 only. If not maybe you can save up and fly to Netherlands? Lol.
